The theater had four screens with a distinct theme for each auditorium: Space Age Art Deco, Gargoyle Gothic, French Tudor, and Egyptian. The Austin Chronicle awarded Dobie Theater the Best Movie Theatre Up for Anything (1996), Best Theatrical Theatre (1996), and Best Place to Find a Lover (2004). Truly and Austin original.
